PLANNED GIVING
Planned giving involves integrating a charitable gift into a donor's overall financial, tax and estate planning objectives, so as to maximize benefits to the donor and Impact on Education. Examples include:

  • Donations of personal residences, commercial buildings or land which can be structured as outright gifts, remainder gifts or life-income producing assets.

  • A bequest can be included in a donor's will for a specific dollar amount or a portion of your estate. In August 2007, Impact on Education received proceeds from the estate of Alaira Stuart, a former BVSD teacher. This $188,000 gift will fund programs that serve high-needs students in the years to come.

  • A life insurance policy naming Impact on Education as owner and beneficiary offers donors a tax deduction for the cash value of the policy.

Our talented group of advisors are available to work with you to optimize your philanthropic and financial goals.
