PARTNERSHIPS
The Boulder area is home to many resources and a rich talent base. Impact on Education, formerly the Foundation for Boulder Valley Schools, is committed to leveraging these resources and creating community connections and partnerships to benefit public education. Our goal is to create win-win relationships between businesses, individuals, service organizations and Boulder Valley public schools and students.

Amgen
The Amgen Foundation i s supporting the Amgen Middle School Life Sciences curriculum and learning materials. Teachers are piloting the program in 2008-09 and will roll it out to all 7th graders by the following year.

Crayons to Calculators
For many low-income families, purchasing basic school supplies every fall stretches their finances to the limit. To address this issue, BVSD, FISH, Impact on Education, St. Vrain Valley Schools, St. Vrain Education Foundation and Sister Carmen Learning Center launched Crayons to Calculators, a collaborative backpack and school supply drive for kids in need. Through generous sponsors, and community support, Crayons to Calculators distributed backpacks of school supplies to 3,641 students in 2007.

Bivio
Bivio, a Web-delivered application company, supports public education by hosting the Impact on Education Web site. Additionally, volunteer employees automated grant application and evaluation processes.
