Las cosas comienzan bien en 2020, y nos estamos sumergiendo en un nuevo trabajo emocionante para preparar a todos los estudiantes para un futuro prometedor.<\/strong> En alineaci\u00f3n con BVSD y consistente con el Distrito  Plan estrat\u00e9gico<\/a>Impact on Education est\u00e1 financiando dos nuevas iniciativas esta primavera que ayudar\u00e1n a los estudiantes de nuestra comunidad a enfrentar los desaf\u00edos y oportunidades que les esperan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primero, estamos orgullosamente piloteando un nuevo <\/strong>herramienta de exploraci\u00f3n de carrera <\/a>en cinco escuelas intermedias de BVSD.<\/strong> Creemos que brindarles a los estudiantes muchas oportunidades para explorar carreras desde una edad temprana los inspirar\u00e1 y emocionar\u00e1. Este programa es \u00fanico porque presenta trabajos que se espera que tengan una gran demanda en el futuro y permite a los estudiantes explorar estas carreras virtualmente a trav\u00e9s de videos con residentes reales de Colorado que trabajan en el campo. El ochenta y cinco por ciento de los que aparecen en el video son de grupos subrepresentados, y el programa presenta informaci\u00f3n sobre clubes o asignaturas optativas que pueden ayudar a los ni\u00f1os interesados a obtener m\u00e1s oportunidades para desarrollar sus habilidades. Recopilaremos informaci\u00f3n de estudiantes y maestros para determinar si el uso de este programa logra sus objetivos y utilizaremos esa informaci\u00f3n para informar futuras inversiones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo, estamos desarrollando un plan de acci\u00f3n con BVSD dise\u00f1ado para reinventar las formas en que estamos preparando a los estudiantes para su futuro.<\/strong> . Las opciones para que los estudiantes desarrollen habilidades, obtengan cr\u00e9ditos universitarios o certificaciones t\u00e9cnicas y accedan a oportunidades de aprendizaje basadas en el trabajo mientras est\u00e1n en la escuela secundaria no son tan abundantes en BVSD como lo son en los distritos pares. Bas\u00e1ndose en las mejores pr\u00e1cticas exitosas y luego aprovechando el talento y el conocimiento de nuestra comunidad local, Impact on Education espera que podamos ofrecer opciones nuevas y emocionantes a todos los estudiantes de K-12 en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan el Foro Econ\u00f3mico Mundial, 65% de ni\u00f1os que ingresan a la escuela trabajar\u00e1n en trabajos que a\u00fan no existen. Y otra encuesta reciente de ManpowerGroup cita 45% de Gerentes de Recursos Humanos que dicen que no pueden encontrar trabajadores calificados para los trabajos disponibles ("Encuesta de escasez de talentos", 2018).
