Through a partnership started in 2019-2020 with Pathways to Jazz, Impact on Education opened up a call for grants to music educators and now provides over $10,000 in grants to music teachers at all schools across BVSD. Recipients bring their new and innovative ideas to classrooms and share them either via performance or alternative format at the end of year showcase.

For the 2020-21 school year, in light of the challenges that COVID-19 is presenting to our school district, schools, educators, and students, Impact on Education is not offering Music Education Grants. Instead, we are supporting student learning in other ways such as providing reliable internet, devices, and school supplies, including headsets with mics for all students, and we are supporting the district student engagement team in their incredible efforts to maintain and increase student participation and engagement whether learning takes place in-person or remotely.

We look forward to being able to reintroduce our Music Education Grants in spring 2021 for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.
