Impact on Education is financially strong and in compliance with both state and federal reporting requirements. Our Board’s Finance & Audit committee meets monthly to review financial statements and practices and hires an external auditor annually to review and certify our financial records. We operate on a fiscal year from April 1-March 31. In our most recent audit (year ending March 30, 2020), our auditors reported no major findings and certified our financial records. With an annual budget of around $1.6 million each year, our organization reaches thousands of local students in need each year.

Representatives from the NAACP Boulder County shared resources and ideas for implementing or strengthening school DEI committees before a Q&A session with BVSD superintendent Dr. Anderson about upcoming needs and current district issues.
